The challenge from Rainbow Lady this week is to use beads on your creation, hope this fits the bill. I have made a shaker card and filled with glass beads, I have also stuck glass beads to the centre of each flower.

You can find details of the challenge here http://rainbowladyschallengeblog.blogspot.com/, go on have a go.

You Make My Day

This award was given to me a week or so ago by Rainbow Lady, I sometimes struggle with how to do things so have only just got around to putting it on here. I have to give this to three people now but where do I start, there are so many people whose work inspires me so if I've missed anyone I'm sorry.

http://craftblog.craftybutterfly.co.uk/ Wendy always a source of inspiration.
http://chrissiescreations.blogspot.com/ Chrissie such a clever card maker.
http://rainbowladyscraftyblog.blogspot.com/ Finally Rainbow Lady is getting it back because for me she is the start of the blogging and joining in with the challenges, even if I don't do many. A great inspiration, very clever and a lovely person.

I've made this for the Cute Cards Thursday Challenge http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/, this week it is things with wings, not sure how far this little lady will get but she sure loves herself! This picture is from http://www.pccrafter.com/pchugclub/ as a free download, she has been backed onto an embossed sheet made with the happy birthday folder from Cuttlebug and finished off with a Flora Doodle from Joanna Sheen.

I've finally decided on a card for one of my swaps, struggled a bit even though it was an easy topic. I seem to like quite plain things so this is in the same vein, I do hope my swap partner likes it.

The card is made from black silk mirri board and white tapestry card both bought from Joanna Sheen, also the Flora Doodle flower came from the same place. The little black dress I cut out of the same card as the base layer and just popped some self adhesive pearls on it. The letters are done with the old favourite the cuttlebug, it doesn't show very well but there are pearls in the corners of the base layer.
